Beginning Instrument and Movement Family Workshop

For children and their grown ups ages 5 - 7

Workshops are located at Greenmeadow Community Center in Palo Alto (303 Parkside Dr. Palo Alto)

Join music educators at Noise Lab that have designed a play based beginning instrument and movement workshop that focuses on musicianship, creativity, and three instruments (piano, ukulele, and recorder). Participants will sing and play a wide variety or repertoire and improve musical skills such as grouping, predicting, anticipating, improvising, and composing. While notation and solfège will be steadily introduced, the learning process through creativity and fun will be emphasized.

Registration includes a Noise Lab bag, soprano recorder, rental instruments to borrow for the duration of the course, and access to quarterly family concerts.
